Believe it or not, the real-life location of the Mrs Doubtfire house was given in the movie. When Miranda Hillard (Sally Field) gives ‘Mrs Doubtfire’ the address in the film, she states the real address of the house, “2640 Steiner Street”, in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood. This neighborhood includes the Fillmore District, where you’ll find one-of-a-kind bars, jazz clubs, and other vibrant nightlife options. You can also find numerous parks, like Raymond Kimbell Playground, and public art installations.

Even the iconic kitchen, where Mrs. Doubtfire catches on fire after trying her hand at preparing a home-cooked meal, has a similar layout to the ones that feature in the listing. Just look at those tiled countertops, they've become a rare sight in modern houses these days.
