Once inside you will find the ground floor offers a well-equipped kitchen, a generous dining area with views out onto the High Street and two living rooms with one offering direct access onto the decking and garden. All street parking around the inn is first come first serve and free. Before becoming The Mansard House, the property was a boarding house equipped with 25 rooms. The Cordrays have transformed the property into a 12-room boutique hotel called The Mansard House. Minimum age to book and lodge at hotel is 25 years.

In the trailer, Ashley calls the property the largest investment they've ever made. They also said that it was not the right time to purchase a property but it was a "unicorn property." After finally deciding to turn this into a full-time profession, the couple were able to rescue the many houses in Galveston. The reason why they called their firm Save 1900 was because they tried to preserve old houses that survived the 1900 storm.
